Tasty Tuesday: Deep Fried Shrimp

I don't ever deep fry food (I admit to being a total wuss), I rarely order it, and I don't even try the novelties at the fair, but I do have an inexplicable weakness for fried seafood.  Calamari is ALWAYS a good choice, as is deep fried shrimp!


I can't really explain exactly why I love it so much, but there is something about the crispy, golden batter and the soft, sweet shrimp that gets to me every time.  I do realize that it so definitely not good for me, so it is a special treat, but we all need a treat sometimes!
