Amped Up Cream of Mushroom Soup

Warning: if you are anti-canned food, leave now.  Sometimes, we just don't have the time or energy to make everything 100% homemade.  There is nothing wrong with that and, with a few special touches, the results can be delicious!

Ingredients:
1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
milk and/or water as directed on soup can, plus 1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. garlic
8 crimini mushrooms
1/4 cup white wine
1 tsp. chili flakes (optional)

Directions:
1. Melt butter in a sauce in a pan over medium heat.  While the butter is melting dice the mushrooms, or chop them finely in a food processor.
2. Add garlic to the melted butter and cook for 1 minute.  While the garlic is cooking mix the soup, milk and water is a pot.  Turn the soup on to medium-low.
3.  Add mushrooms and wine to the butter and garlic and cook for 3 minutes, or until the wine has all cooked off.
4. Add the mushroom mixture to the soup and finish cooking.

Serve and enjoy!
