Splurge or Steal: Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Lip Pencil vs. Joe Fresh Long Wear Lip Pencil

While searching for the perfect red lipstick, I have also been on the hunt for the perfect liner to go with it.  I've swatched and tested a lot of liners and these two ended up being my favorites.

These liners are similar in color, consistency and staying power, but not in price.  The Estée Lauder pencil was $25.00 (ouch!) at Sephora, whereas the Joe Fresh pencil was $6.00 (yay!) at Superstore.  The Estée Lauder pencil is in the shade Red and the Joe Fresh pencil is Deep Red.

 The same thing happens when they are applied to the lips.

I love a good deal, and this one is hard to beat!  Save your money and pick up the Joe Fresh liner.  You will get an amazing product for a fraction of the cost.
